It is amazing the response of our fundraiser for TRAVIS MILLS. The cuffs are selling like hotcakes!
Everyday we have to take more downtown (Vassar, Michigan) to C&S Jewelry. Also, lots of sales online at Cangles.com.
The more we sell the more money can go to the Mills Family Fund. Thanks to everyone that is making this a very big success.

Here at Cangles we are selling a cuff made especially for Travis Mills.
Travis is from Vassar, Michigan where we live. He had all four of his limbs blown
off in Afghanistan.
For every cuff sold we are giving the Mills Family Fund $7.00. We know that
this is a great cause. The response has been great. We are selling them locally at
C&S Jewelry and at Cangles.com.

Earth Day History
April 22nd marks the 42th anniversary of Earth Day.
John McConnell was a peace activist who first proposed Earth Day in
1969 to celebrate Earth’s life and beauty. Senator Gaylord Nelson (D-WI)
is credited for making Earth Day official because he proposed a bill
asking Congress for a nationwide celebration to be held annually on
April 22nd.
The first official Earth Day was celebrated in 1970 when as many as 20 million Americans participated in nationwide environmental rallies, demonstrations and other activities. Since then, Earth Day has transformed from a grassroots movement into a worldwide citizen crusade. In 1990, Earth Day went global when 200 million people in 141 countries participated in activities and events.

Fashion at the Needle - Seattle
For those of you in the Seattle area this is a great event and Cangles jewelry is a part of the show.
Fashion at the Needle are fashion shows that are produced by volunteers, models, fashion designers, and small businesses for the communities in which we serve.
We promote the idea that we as consumers have control over what is “fashionable” and that fashion shows create jobs!

Autism Awareness
April is Autism awareness Month.
We at Cangles have designed jewelry where a portion of the sales will go to Autism Speaks.
There were a number of people that requested and gave ideas to help us design this line.
